“Go, then to Joseph, and do all that he shall say to you; … Go to Joseph and be grateful to him …” — Saint Alphonsus Liguori
Saint Joseph stands as a powerful guardian and protector in the life of the faithful. As Saint Alphonsus teaches, the Son of God who lived under Joseph’s roof honors him in heaven, so when we turn to Joseph, we are heard. He sheltered the Holy Family with humility and strength, guiding Christ through his hidden years. Today, Joseph watches over us in our struggles, offering protection and guidance. Saints throughout history found in him a mighty intercessor, and devotion to him remains a source of “great power with God” for all who seek his help.

Partial Indulgence:
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
- Devoutly attend public novenas, for example, those held before the Solemnities of the Nativity of the Lord, Pentecost, or the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- Devoutly recite approved litanies, such as the Litany of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, or the Saints.
- Piously recite an approved little office, for example, the Little Office of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Conception, or St. Joseph.
